The AI translation was technically correct, but it completely missed the point. The poem was about my family, how it changes over time, and in that context, I was expressing that when it comes to my family, I don’t care about numbers.

That’s why I used actual numerals when describing change, and only letters at the end. The translation ignored that. It also modified my punctuation. I intentionally avoided full stops to show unity.

Those were creative choices, and the AI missed them entirely, altering my voice and the tone and rhythm of the poem
